City Spaces.Ranaqua Park
Description

With the premise that all children need and deserve outdoor recreation and a safe place to play, the Trust for Public Land (TPL) launched the City Spaces Program, which develops new community playgrounds and parks in under-served, inner-city neighborhoods.

This is the sixth City Spaces project dedicated to providing permanent, community-managed recreation space. Planned by students and TPL, the new play space features a basketball court, a grass playing field, swings, and play equipment.

The Trust for Public Land is a national nonprofit organization dedicated to conserving land for people to enjoy as parks and open space. Since 1972, TPL has conserved over two million acres of land nationwide.
