Pfizer helping fight childhood obesity in Arkansas
Pfizer has committed $2.8 million to fund a new program targeted at reducing the incidence of childhood obesity across Arkansas. The program, called “Balance It Out: Arkansas” will be managed by the Arkansas
Department of Health and Human Services, and will kick off in December with a health fair for state employees. By early next year, the program will provide families in three high-risk school districts with health counseling, including fitness awareness and courses on healthy eating and shopping.
