A new white paper from the Trust for Public Land (TPL) draws from the latest research to show how parks support and promote healthy lifestyles. “The Health Benefits of Parks” is sprinkled with compelling statistics, from the merits of community gardens to the inequitable distribution of parks and trails in low-income areas where health disparities are greatest.
