USA Today features Complete Streets movement
The concept of "complete streets"—roadways featuring bicycle lanes, sidewalks and room for mass transit—gained traction in a set of articles in USA Today. The front-page article discusses the adoption of policies across the country and the broad coalition that supports them. Fourteen states, six counties, 10 regional governments and 52 cities have complete streets policies.
Ritter also profiled Colorado Springs in a more in-depth article on the progress of the complete streets movement.
